Our Story: A Different Kind of Retail

For 20 years, my life was retail. I loved the hustle of the shop floor and the people I met every day. But everything changed when I got my cancer diagnosis. Suddenly, I couldn't work anymore. For someone who had been on their feet and busy for two decades, the silence was the hardest part. I needed a reason to get up and stay positive.

During those toughest days, a few gift boxes showed up at my house. It sounds simple, but opening them changed my entire mood. For a few minutes, I wasn’t a “patient”—I was just someone being loved. That feeling was so powerful that I knew I had to recreate it for others.

Dee-liteful Gifts started because I wanted to pass that feeling on. Whether it’s a birthday, a "good luck" leaving present for a colleague, or just a surprise for someone special, I’ve learned that a thoughtful box can be a lifeline.

I’ve built this store for the people who are going stronger, even when life is throwing challenges their way. Every box I put together is a reminder that there’s still beauty and joy to be found.
